Ronald Lee Bolech, age 57, passed away peacefully on August 5th, 2024 after a hard fought, two-year battle with cancer. He was born in Galveston, Texas to the late Katherine Ann Bolech.
Ron was a mechanic by trade and spent much of his free time pursuing that passion in his own garage. A car enthusiast all his life, he enjoyed all things automotive - car shows, car magazines and hands-on repairs. Ron was often described as an all-around outdoors man. He loved fishing and camping, and his family considered him an amature naturalist photographer. Ron was often found in his camouflage ball cap and Carhart jacket.
Ron will be remembered for his strong-will and a great sense of humor. Life was never too serious for a joke and he put a smile on everyone's face.
Ron is preceded in death by mother, Katherine Ann Bolech and wife, Kathy Lynn Bolech. Ron is survived by his son, Ronald (Jody) Bolech II; daughter, Starr (Kristopher Bolton) Bolech; beloved partner, Michalle Holt; and Michalle's children, Travis (Julia) Holt; and Brooklynn Holt. Along with a lifetime of collected friends and two much-loved Siberian Huskies.
As per Ron's request, no funeral or memorial services will be held. The family welcomes condolences and memories to be shared in the online guestbook.
