Ben C. Bolech Sr.

Obituary for Ben Bolech Sr. who was born on November 28,1928 and passed on January 14, 2026. He was married to Marian (Darilek) Bolech on September 12, 1950, and they had three children – Margaret Rogers, Patricia Boldt (Raymond), and Ben Bolech, Jr., three grandchildren – Jason Boldt (Shayla), Elizabeth Floyd (Aaron), Jessica Gray (Brian) and seven great grandchildren – Avery and Zoe Boldt, Reese, Ryan, and Rawley Floyd, and Will and Cora Gray.
Ben was born in Shiner, TX to Charles Frank Bolech and Frances Anna (Veselka) Bolech. After graduating from High School, Ben moved to Victoria. He worked for Groce Wearden for 33 years and later Scrivener Grocery Distribution for another 10 years. Ben was a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Victoria for nearly 75 years. He was a member of the Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus Council 1329, and St. Vincent de Paul Society.
Ben enjoyed attending mass, serving his church community, solving the world's problems over coffee with friends, spending time at his ranch tending to his cattle and all things country. He also enjoyed wood working and whittling, sitting on the back porch and listening to the birds, driving the back roads, attending various Catholic Church Festivals and Picnics in the area, and watching the Dallas Cowboys.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Marian of 62 years, and his daughter Margaret. His legacy is carried on by the family, whom he inspired, and the friends he made along the way.
