Ronald Botch Obituary
Ronald "Ron" James Botch, 75, of Salisbury Twp., passed away peacefully on March 8, 2024, at his residence. Born on March 10, 1948, he was the son of the late Frank and Bertha (Oldham) Botch, and Dorothy (Stemmer) Botch.
Ron proudly served in the U.S. Marines, dedicating four years of his life to his country during the Vietnam War. Upon returning, Ron worked diligently as a factory worker for both Pillsbury and Lamination East.
Ron is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Catherine F. Botch (Rosevear), his sons Johnathan and James Botch, sisters Sandra Pieller and Barbara Kuhns; stepsister, Terry Roberts, and multiple niceness, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A man of faith, Ron was an active member of St. Ursula Catholic Church. In his spare time, he reveled in the joys of vegetable gardening and was both a passionate college sports enthusiast and a dedicated Phillies fan.
Services: A viewing will be held on Monday, March 11, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cantelmi Funeral Home, 1311 Broadway, Fountain Hill PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Ursula Catholic Church, 1300 Broadway, Fountain Hill, PA 18015. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Memorial Park. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Ronald's memory to Toys For Tots, Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, Gift Processing Administrator, 18251 Quantico Gateway Drive, Triangle, VA 22172.

Ronnie, this would be your birthday and we would have talked on the phone about old times. Thank God I was able to see you in August. Never thought that was the last time. Love you and prayers for the family.

"A marine has passed away today." Ronald, you are now relieved from your post. A job well done fellow Vietnam Veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom and democracy. We all are grateful for your stepping up to the plate when your country needed you the most. The final bugle has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation“s defender. Farewell fellow war veteran. A Navy Vietnam Veteran.
