Ronald H. “Ron” Branham, 90, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 10:39 a.m. on Monday, July 21, 2025, at his home. He was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on June 7, 1935, to the late Harley R. and Viola (Warner) Branham.
On June 1, 1958, he married Rose Marie (Anderson) Branham, and she preceded him in death on July 25, 2013.
Ron is survived by his daughters, Roseanne (Brent) Miesse of Springfield, and Rita (Dan) Johnson of Rushsylvania; grandchildren, Cynthia (Steve) Hudson, Andrew (Rachel Arnold) Miesse, Ashley (Dylan) Seitz, Becky (Sam) Palmer, Brittney (Matthew) Crickard, Stephanie Johnson, and Kaitlyn Brand; great grandchildren, Killian, Victoria, Isaac, Hadassah, Meadow, Boaz, Zephaniah, Grace, Faith, Silas, and Dinah; niece who is traveling from South Dakota, Nora Vereecke, and many other nieces and nephews.
Along with his wife and parents, Ron was also preceded in death by his son, Ronald Russell Branham on February 1, 2023; grandchildren, Nikki Miesse and Raymond Johnson; and siblings, Catherine Carnes, Nancy Case, and James Branham.
Ron was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Bellefontaine. He worked as a brick mason throughout his life and was recognized for his skills in the area. He also spent time gardening and, in his younger years, riding his bicycle.
Pastor Daniel McCarty will officiate a funeral service at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at the Hillcrest Baptist Church, 1505 South Main Street, Bellefontaine. Visitation will be two hours prior to the funeral on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the church. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 28, 2025, in the Huntsville Cemetery.
