Ronald Craig Brodhagen, aged 71, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2025, in Detroit, MI, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on May 28, 1953, in Huntington Park, CA, Ronald was a man of integrity, warmth, and unwavering dedication to his loved ones.
Ronald was the cherished husband of Holly Brodhagen, with whom he shared a life full of joy and companionship. He was a devoted son to his late parents, Paul and Mildred Brodhagen, and a loving father to his children, Erin Brodhagen and Kris (Marisa) Brodhagen. His role as a grandfather to Riley, Kallie, and Brenden was one of his greatest joys, and he embraced every moment with them.
He is survived by his siblings, Linda, Gary, Raymond, Paul Jr., and Philip. Ronald was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard and Dennis, but the memories they created together continue to live on through the stories he shared.
Ronald's passion for history was evident to all who knew him. He could often be found engrossed in a book or documentary, always eager to learn more about the past.
A hard worker throughout his life, Ronald's strong work ethic was admired by his colleagues and instilled in his children. He believed in the value of diligence and responsibility, qualities that he demonstrated consistently in both his professional and personal life.
Ronald's legacy is one of love, commitment, and the pursuit of knowledge. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him. His impact on the world is indelible, and his memory will be treasured forever.
