Ronald Busch Obituary
Ronald proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, answering the call of duty with honor and dedication. After moving to Connecticut as a young man, he built a life marked by hard work, service, and quiet accomplishments. A longtime member of the Stratford Masons, Ronald worked as a skilled Design Draftsman for Dresser Industries. Outside of work, he was a man of many talents-a gifted piano and organ player whose music brought joy to those around him, and a passionate gardener who took pride in growing beautiful flowers. With the help of his family, he built his own home in Oxford, a true labor of love. Once the house was complete, he brought his mother up from Pennsylvania to care for her, reflecting the deep sense of duty and compassion that defined his life. Ronald will be remembered for his strength, kindness, and the enduring legacy of love and service he leaves behind.
Ronald is survived by his nieces, Marilyn Mitchell, Diane (Sean) Walsh, and Dolores Hensel; great nieces and nephews, Jason (Adriene) Mitchell, Timothy Shepherd, Marissa (Jesse Richards) Shepherd, and Nicole (Emily) Lapoint; great-great nieces and nephew, Alexia, Justin, and Paighton. Ronald was also predeceased by his brother, Albert E. Busch, niece, Deborah Shepherd, and nephews, Kenneth P. Mitchell and Arthur Hensel.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be celebrated on Friday, September 26, 2025 at 11am at King's Highway Cemetery, 271 Cherry St., Milford, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
