Ronald Joseph "Ron" Butchart

Ronald Joseph Butchart, age 64 of Adrian died Thursday, February 5, 2015 surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born May 27, 1950 in Adrian to William Richard and Mary Elizabeth (Kramer) Butchart. On September 18, 1970 in Adrian he married Nancy Marie Burgess and she survives. Ronald attended Catholic Central and graduated from Adrian High School. Ron retired from construction as a builder and also worked at the Lenawee Country Club. Ron was an avid hunter. Ron loved spending his Sundays barbequing chicken on the grill with his boys. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his exuberant laugh. In addition to his wife, Nancy, Ron is survived by two sons, Scott Butchart and Brent Butchart both of Adrian; four brothers, William (Patricia) Butchart, Gerald A. (Judy) Butchart, Michael (Linda) Butchart all of Adrian, and Robert Butchart of Inverness, Florida, one sister, Barbara (Chuck) Gartee of Adrian. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Kay Ruple and Mary Butchart. Funeral services for Ron will be on Monday, February 9, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian with Rev. Anthony Strouse officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
