Ronald Carroll Obituary

Ronald "Earl" Carroll, Jr. Winterville - Ronald "Earl" Carroll, Jr.,84, passed away on July 21, 2025.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 11 AM at Wilkerson Funeral Home, 2100 E. 5th St, Greenville, NC. The family will receive guests following the service.

Earl has been a resident of Winterville, NC his whole life. He was a member of Winterville Baptist church and had the joy of Jesus in his heart. Earl loved his community. He was a volunteer fire fighter and he worked at Winterville Machine Works for 40 years. He was a member of the Winterville Ruritan Club and was involved in many town parades, always with a smile on his face. Earl loved many things. His family, fishing, trains, a good meal, and company. He never met a stranger and the kindness of others meant the world to him.

Earl was predeceased by his parents, Ronald and Lottie Carroll.

He is survived by his brother, John Carroll; sisters, Elizabeth Carroll, Frances Walters & husband Steve; nieces Erica Brinson & husband Will, and Lisa Roberts and husband Dustin; nephew Blake Carroll & wife Sarah; great-nephews Jackson & Mason Brinson; and great niece Kennedy Roberts.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Winterville Volunteer Fire Department, 2526 Mill St, Winterville, NC 28590.
