Ronald Lee Chafin

CHAFIN----Ronald Lee Chafin, age 51 of Jacksonville, FL passed away suddenly on October 7, 2010 following a brief illness. He was born September 17, 1959 in Columbus, OH, the son of Rush Floyd Chafin and Carmen Collier Chafin. He worked in the construction field here for many years, and had attended Oakleaf Baptist Church. He was predeceased by his father, his brother, and his son Ronald Rush Chafin on October 27, 2009, the loss of which he never overcame. He is survived by his daughter Rhonda Lynn Chafin; four grandchildren, Hunter and Hailey Mills, and Ashlynn and Cole Rush Chafin; also his mother Carmen Chafin; and many friends. Funeral services for Ronald will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday October 12, 2010 in the chapel of Jacksonville Memory Gardens, 111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park with Pastor Robert Ball of Oakleaf Baptist Church officiating. Mr. Chafin will be laid to rest with his son in the Garden of Miracles at Jacksonville Memory Gardens. Visiting hours will be held on Monday evening from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
