FTGC Mumpower. Precom Spruance until '79. A couple of things I learned from Ron was the pronunciation 0f the morning meal" Breafuss" and strangely enough my last name"Mumfer", I had no idea. We stood a lot of import duty together and somehow quite often we would come across a 5 pound box of shrimp, that I believe we managed to consume with great ease. In precom he often drove the bus and acquired the nickname "Bus key", Don't think it lasted though. He was an awesome shipmate and friend. Was very lucky to know him.

God Speed HTC Cline you were a great Teacher, Mentor and a Man larger than life in the eyes of a 17 year old that I looked up to. I served under Chief Cline in R-Div from 1974 Pre-com to 1978. Salute! And Thank you for your service!
