West Cobb Funeral Home & Crematory - MariettaRonald Roger Cloud, age 84, of Marietta, GA passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. A Graveside Service will be held at 1pm on Monday, March 2, 2026 at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.
Born in Griffin, GA to James and Frances Cloud, Mr. Cloud moved to the Atlanta area when he was just 18 years old. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam Conflict. Afterwards, he was employed with Delta Airlines for a brief period of time before working in automotive sales for Crane Daly Voltswagon where he worked for the next 25 years. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and landscaping around his home.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Wilma Cloud; a son, Ronald Roger (Debbra) Cloud, II, Marietta, GA; a grandson, Ryan Cloud, Marietta, GA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
