Ronald L. Coleman, born on June 14, 1950 in San Diego, CA, passed away peacefully in Louisville, KY after an off & on battle with cancer on December 4, 2025 at the young age of 75.
He grew up in central Indiana and enlisted in the Navy after high school. He served for 6 years, moved back to Indiana, and started work at the Pendleton Reformatory, where he worked for 39 years, retiring as a Corrections Sergeant. He and Jane were members of the Central Indiana Retriever Club in the 1970’s. They also bred and raised Labrador retrievers and always kept one or two from each litter.
Ron is survived by his wife, Jane; two kids, Stephanie (Carlos) Lancaster and Steve (Melissa) Chaney; and nine grandkids.
No services will be held.
