Ronald G. Cowens, 70 of Whiting, NJ passed away on Monday January 1, 2024. Born in Roselle, Park, NJ he lived in Little Egg Harbor for most of his life and moved to Whiting, NJ 2 years ago. Ronald was a maintenance worker for Arcadia Nursing Home (Mystic Meadows) for many years. He was an avid and skilled fisherman and he enjoyed tinkering with R/C Cars, trains and all sorts of antique collectables. He liked to bake, but his favorite past-time was spending time with his grandchildren. Ronald was a man that liked to stay busy and he marched to the beat of his own drum. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Ronald is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years Barbara Cowens, sons Eric Prosniewski (Krystal) of Whiting, NJ, John Prosniewski (Kelly) of Trenton and Jason Cowens (Nicole) of New Gretna, NJ, sister Cortney Young (Earl) of Browns Mills, NJ, many grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 20, 2024 from 2pm to 4pm at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.
