Ronald Lee Crowder, 77 of Foley, Alabama passed away on Tuesday morning, September 17, 2024. He was a former resident of Franklin, Indiana. He was born on April 19, 1947 in Indianapolis, Indiana to John B. Crowder and Esther Muse Crowder. Ron married Ruth E. (Ramsey) Crowder on September 22, 1967. She lovingly survives. Also surviving are their two sons, Brian E. Crowder (Christine) and C. Kevin Crowder (Barriebarbra); sisters, Frances R. Barnett and Paula K. Cox; five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. He was preceded in passing by his parents and brother, Steven B. Crowder. Ron was a graduate of Franklin Community High School and attended Indiana University. He retired after several years, as a retirement plan specialist. In his earlier years, he worked at Dog N Suds for many years. He was a member of the Franklin Masonic Lodge No. 107, F & A M. Ron was an avid golfer of Hillview Country Club for many years. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 9th, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin, Indiana with visitation on Saturday, November 9th from 12:00 p.m. to time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
