Butch was a proud and devoted man who lived life on his own terms. A member of the First Christian Church in Mena, he honorably served his country in the United States Navy during Vietnam. Throughout his working life, he was a skilled mechanic, spending five years with Razorback Auto Repair as well as operating his own business. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge and found his greatest joys outdoors, especially while hunting and fishing. Butch embraced each day fully, living life his way.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and one son, Rusty Gene Davis
Butch is survived by one sister, Judy Hammonds of Bryant, Arkansas; and one grandson, Ethan Davis of Mena; and a host of other relatives and friends.
No services are planned at this time. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Bowser Family Funeral Home in Mena, Arkansas.
