Ronald Wayne Dellinger, 77, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away December 16, 2023. He was born in Gastonia, NC on January 23, 1946, to the late Hazel Dellinger and Dorothy Barker Dellinger. Ronald was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was immensely proud of all his girls, Lisa, Crissy, Emily, and Georgia, and always made sure to express his deepest love to them. He was a man with a contagious smile and personality who never failed to bring a sense of humor into the room. He was so funny and goofy; you couldn't help but to always have a good laugh when he was around. He loved to draw and was a very talented artist. He loved to read Stephen King novels, and when he wasn't reading, he could be found listening to his Pink Floyd and Credence Clearwater Revival albums. He collected baseball cards and was never able to find an ice-cream flavor or hotdog that he didn't enjoy. Ronald will be truly missed and cherished in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him.
Funeral Services will be held at 6:45pm on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112. The family will receive friends from 5:30pm until 6:30pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
On December 17, 1981, he married the love of his life, Robbie Helms Dellinger. Ronald loved and cared for his beloved wife as Jesus commanded. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Lisa Dellinger (Steve), and Cristina Love (Shayne); and grandchildren, Emily Early (Evan), and Georgia Kate Love.
Holland Funeral Service is serving the Dellinger family.
