Ronald DeShaw Obituary

Ronald Ellis DeShaw, 72 of Aitkin died Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Riverwood Healthcare Center in Aitkin. He was born January 7, 1953 in Iowa City, Iowa the son of Harold and Neta (Fenstermaker) DeShaw. He was self employed working in construction and building. Ronald was united in marriage to Connie Marie (Hale) on October 15, 1993 in Aitkin. He was preceded in death by his sister Minnie Gandy and his parents. Ronald is survived by his wife Connie of Aitkin;

5 children: Ron DeShaw, Jr. of Bemidji, Adam (Jessica) DeShaw of Brainerd, Andrea DeShaw of Neihart, Montana, Erica (Justin) Nelson of Big Lake, Lewis DeShaw of Aitkin; 5 grandchildren: Dalton, Blake, Brennen, Hailey, Hunter; 3 brothers: Buck, Dick and George DeShaw; 2 sisters: Pat Aswegan and Carol Thompson; and many other special relatives and friends.

There will be no public service at this time. A private gathering of family and friends will be at a later date. Arrangements are with Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Aitkin. To leave a message of condolence please go to www.srtfuneral.com
