Ronald Wayne Duncalf

Ronald Wayne Duncalf, 72, of Lacon, IL passed away on March 06, 2024. Ronnie was born on May 31, 1951, in Moline, IL to Bernard and Eleanor (Huff) Duncalf. He married Carol Stringfield on October 31, 1970. Later, he married Marilyn Jones on February 17, 1979, she precedes him in death. He married Mary Brock on February 24, 1991, in Galesburg, IL on February 24, 1991, and she precedes him in death.
Surviving are his children Rhonda Duncalf of Dayton, OH; Brandy McLam of Huntington, NY; Katie (Don) Hoteling of Rock Island, IL; Sarah (Chris) Stenger of Bloomington, IL; Rachel (Austin) Phelps of Port Byron, IL; and 12 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marilyn; and wife, Mary; and a half-brother Richard Yeager.
Ronnie studied automotive repair at Black Hawk College. He worked at various manufacturing and mechanic jobs, including Farmall until it closed, Carhartt, and later retired from Caterpillar. Ronnie loved studying the Bible, attending church, and helping with the food pantry. He enjoyed being active, working on vehicles, gardening, cooking, and loved his dogs.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 10 am with a visitation 1 hour prior from 9 am-10 am at New Life Community Church, 1400 Old Indian Town Road, Henry, IL. Pastor Tom Schrock will be officiating. Burial interment will follow at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria, IL.
Arrangements were entrusted to Lenz Memorial Home. Memorials may be made to New Life Community Church or a local food bank.
