Mulvane - Dunlap, Ronald Dee
78, passed away Tuesday, August 13th, 2024. He was born May 28th, 1946 to Robert Dunlap and Harrietta Ashburn Dunlap in Garnett, Kansas.
Ronald graduated from Kincaid High School in 1964. At age 17 he joined the Army National Guard. After graduating, his Guard Unit was activated in the United States Army. He married the love of his life, Ora Lee Chandler on September 4, 1965 in Garnett, Kansas. They moved to Mulvane, Kansas where they raised their three kids for the last 51 years. Ronald enjoyed working on cars with his brothers. He worked for 18 years for Vulcan Chemicals and then opened RD's County Line Bar and Grill in Mulvane that he and Ora Lee operated for 15 years. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Dunlap and Harrietta and Don Miller; brothers, Gary, Jack, Don Wayne, and Fred.
Ronald is survived by his wife of almost 59 years, Ora Lee Dunlap; kids, Brenda Cardwell (Bruce), Robert Dunlap (Gina); Lisa Hanna (Corey); grandkids, Dylan, Autumn, Caleb, Blake, Brock, Shae, Braydon; six great-grandkids; sisters, Vicki Louk, Lori McDaniel; and numerous family and friends.
Memorial Service: 10:30 am, Friday, August 16th, 2024 at Mulvane United Methodist Church, 107 S. Central, Mulvane, Kansas 67110.

Ora lee and family, I am sorry for your loss. I knew Ronnie as a childhood friend. He was always so kind and so much fun. His parents and siblings were so nice also. I pray all your good memories of Ronnie will bring you much comfort. Delores Werner Smith

I will always remember RD by his smiling face whenever seeing not just me but everyone. . I met him when walking into RD´s one night and he had seen me on the TV show Power of Attorney and ever since then he´s called me "Hollywood".He did not know me before this RD was always a cheerful soul that loved people and was also very evident in his family.
