Henderson, TN: Ronald Edward Egros age 78, passed away Tuesday, Nov 1, 2022 at his home.
He was born October 16, 1944 in Plaquemine, Louisiana, the son of the late Bruno Joseph Egros, senior and Mildred Watts Riles.
Ronny was a member of First United Methodist Church. He loved education and children. He attended college at the University of Southern Louisiana in Lafayette (USL), Louisiana. While at USL he joined SAE Fraternity. His SAE brothers were very special to him. He graduated from USL in 1968 with a degree in Business Administration. He continued his education at Louisiana State University (LSU) and graduated with a Masters of Education in 1975. Then he got his specialist degree in 1982. He retired from education in 1998 and moved to TN to purchase a convenience store. He owned Oden's in Henderson, TN for ten years. He continued to work with children after the sale of the store. He was director of Noah's Ark Preschool for many years. He worked in the Chester County School System until April of 2022 as an interventionist. In his spare time, he worked at the Henderson Water Treatment Plant. He loved work, education and children.
Ronny is survived by his wife, Jill Oden of Henderson: children, Spencer Anderson Egros (Jenifer), Robert Edward Egros, Sarah Anne-Marie Egros Frischhertz (Paul), Joseph Dorman Egros and William Carroll Egros; six grandchildren; sisters, Sue Egros Hebert (King) and Margaret Egros (Cullen).
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Bruno Joseph Egros, Jr. (Nanette).
A private, graveside service will be held at Grace Memorial Park, Plaquemine, Louisiana.
