Ronald Edward Elliott, 62, of Monroe City, MO, formerly of Perry, MO passed away at 4:08 PM Friday, December 1, 2023, at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, MO.
Arrangements for cremation are under the direction of the O'Donnell-Thurman Life Celebration Home of Monroe City, MO
Ronald was born October 2, 1961, in Mexico, MO to Philip Edward Elliott and Mary Ann Presson Elliott.
Ronald is survived by his Mother, Mary Ann Elliott of Perry, MO, Son, Dustin (Breanna) Elliott of Zebulon, NC, Grandson, Wesley Elliott of Zebulon, NC, Brother, Jerry (Rhonda) Elliott of Perry, MO,, 2 Nephews, Trenton (Brooke Carr) Elliott of Perry, MO, Trey (Keilynn) Elliott of Perry, MO, and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Ronald was preceded in death by his father Philip Edward Elliott.
Professionally, Ronnie previously worked as a machinist and welder for Butech Bliss in Salem, OH and had many years under his belt as a truck driver where he was able to see many parts of the country.
Ronnie was a man who never met a stranger. His outgoing personality, joking mannerisms and perhaps a smart al-lec side from time to time would lend him confidence in his ability to talk to anyone from all walks of life. An excellent cook Ronnie would whip up something for all to try if they dared, it was sure to be on the spicey side, maybe even a bit too hot for some. He loved working on motorcycles and cars, especially his 69 Charger as The General Lee. Ronnie had an interest in Native American culture knowing much of its history. He also enjoyed spending time around Mark Twain Lake taking in the Dam and quarries around the area. At the end of a long day Ronnie enjoyed relaxing with his dog Maya, a Jack & Coke while listening to some country music. One of his favorites was Gretchen Wilson even making a shirt reading "Redneck man looking for a redneck woman" which he would wear to her concert. Cheers to Ronnie, you will be missed by all who knew and loved you.
Ronnie was Christian by faith.
