Ronald Emberton Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by McNutt Funeral Home - Conroe on Jan. 19, 2026.
Ronald Wayne Emberton was born on July 27, 1974, in Houston, Texas, to Ronald P. Emberton and Johnnie Emberton. From the beginning, Ron lived with purpose, placing God first in his life, a commitment that guided every path he chose and every life he touched.

Ron was preceded in death by his mother, Johnnie Emberton, whom he loved dearly.

Ron loved his wife, Sheri, deeply, and together they served God faithfully. Their marriage of 23 years was a testament to devotion, partnership, and faith-filled love. He is also survived by his father, Ronald P. Emberton; his brother John Emberton and wife Tonya; and nieces and nephews who will carry forward his memory and spirit.

After a career in trucking, Ron answered a calling to serve others by becoming a paramedic, dedicating himself to helping people during their most vulnerable moments. His devotion to God led him to one of the happiest moments of his life-becoming an ordained pastor. He went on to serve faithfully as a jail and prison chaplain, offering hope, compassion, and spiritual guidance to those in need. His life was a reflection of faith, service, and unwavering compassion.

Outside of his callings, Ron loved to travel, embracing new places and experiences, and he deeply loved his dogs, who were constant companions and a source of comfort and joy.

Ron will be remembered with love, gratitude, and admiration. Even through his journey with illness, he inspired others with his faith, courage, and example. His life was rich in meaning-defined by faith in God, service to others, and devotion to family.

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." - 2 Timothy 4:7
