Ronald Fodor Obituary

Ronald John Fodor, of Grosse Ile, was born on August 10, 1936 to John and Mary Fodor in Schenectady, New York. In 1958, Ronald earned his Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He married Irene Fodor soon after 1961. During his life he worked as a chemical engineer and was a member of the Phi Lambda Upsilon Honorary Chemical Society, the American Chemical Society, the Downriver Bass Club, and was an eagle scout. Ronald was an avid fisherman. Ronald passed away on December 8, 2022 in Trenton, Michigan. He is survived by his daughter Laura Fodor and his beloved dog Scout. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Irene Fodor. A memorial gathering will take place on December 28, 2022 from 10-12 p.m. at the Trenton Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes. There will be a memorial service at 12 p.m. that same day, at the same location. If you would like to donate in honor of Ronald John Fodor, please consider donating the American Heart Association.
