Ronald Richard Frazier Sr was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on August 21, 1954, to the late Bennie Frazier and Henrietta Duncan Frazier as the youngest of eight children. A proud graduate of Warren Harding High School, Ronald played an important role in the family business, Frazier Trucking, and their popular restaurant on Revere Street. He later worked as an engine lathe operator at AVCO Lycoming Textron, and his final position was at Napa Auto Parts.
He was known to many as "Uncle Ronald," often the loudest at family gatherings, which made for a fun atmosphere. People felt comfortable sharing their stories, both good and bad, knowing he would have their back without any judgement.
Ronald was a die- hard New York fan. It didn't matter whether it was the Jets, Yankees, Knicks, or '86 Mets; his loyalty was unmatched. He also had a passion for motorcycles and found great joy sitting at a blackjack/poker table or playing Conquian with a friend.
He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Ronald R. Frazier Jr. (Mary); daughter, Tauika Nedab of Waterbury, CT; brother. Donald of Boston, MA; sister, Libby of Bridgeport, CT; and his grandchildren, Zae'kwon, Armani, Janae, and Anajah of Waterbury, CT, as well as his great-grandchildren, Serenity, Illani and Nori. He also leaves three sisters-in-law: Brenda Frazier of Boston, MA; Patricia Ross (Winston) of West Haven, CT; and Louise Gregory (Gerald) of Bridgeport, CT, and brother-in-law James Bailey of Bridgeport, CT along with a host of cherished nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Bennie and Henrietta Duncan Frazier; his daughter, Latoya; brothers Edward, Roy, Rufus, Larry, and Joseph; his sister, Dora Ann; and special friend, Tanjala Tuck.
He was also predeceased by his nephews, Davon, Wayne, Chudney and his niece Keica.
He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
