Ronald DeVoine Gannon, 81 of Springfield passed away on August 23, 2025, at his home. He was born on November 23, 1943, in Trenton, MO to Reverend Clifford and Dorthy "Allen" Gannon. On June 23, 1962, he married Delories Nevins. To this union three daughters were born. In March 1986, he married Patricia Gammill.

As a Minister son Ron gave his life to the Lord at a young age and served him faithfully his entire life. Ron graduated from High School in Ottumwa, Iowa in 1961. After relocating to Kansas City, Ron began a multifaceted career by developing his craft as an iron worker and welder. By 1966 he achieved journeyman status with certifications in a host of specialties in structural and ornamental bridge ironworking. In 1966 he started his own enterprise. Over the next 16 years he operated a Radio & TV sales and service business, and Industrial Electrical Contracting Business and Liquidation company with three retail outlets. In October 1982 Ron joined Webco Engineering and held various positions becoming Vice President and General Manager. Ron Enjoyed his hobbies fishing, boating and hunting but his favorite was lake life and spending time with family.

He is survived by his daughters Tresa (Terry) Clarkson of LaPlata MO, Darla Gannon of Springfield MO and Paula (Tony) Snyder of West Plains MO. Four grandchildren, Timothy (Jessie) Clarkson, Brent (Amanda) Clarkson, Landon (Madi) Snyder, Bailey (Colten) Johnson. Ten great grandchildren, Haylee, Atalie, Emma, Cash, Sage, Cohen, Gunner, Oliver, Utah and Stevie. One brother Norman (Karlene) Gannon. Sister-in-law Barbara Gannon

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Patricia; sister Joyce and her husband Harry Mendenhall; brother Curtis Gannon, nephew Andy Gannon.

Visitation will be held at Sac River Cowboy Church August 29, 2025, at 10:00am with Memorial service to follow at 11:00am with Pastor Scotty Killingsworth officiating.

Private burial will be held in Shell Knob MO at a later date.

Memorials may be made to Sac River Cowboy Church
