Ronald Gora Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Davis Funeral Home on Jan. 13, 2025.
Ronald "Ron" J. Gora Sr., age 67, of Nashua, NH, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2025 while surrounded by his loving family after a lifelong illness. Born on November 26, 1957, in Nashua, New Hampshire, he was the son of the late Clarence and Madlyn (Peters) Gora.
As a Nashua native, Ron was educated through the Nashua public school system and raised his family in his hometown. During his career, Ron worked for Nashua Corp for nearly 20 years (1978 to 1995) where he served as a Forklift Operator and Assembler, until he was no longer able to continue due to illness. Later in life, he took on various odd jobs, including flower delivery.
He was a passionate New England sports fan, including the Boston Bruins, Red Sox, and New England Patriots. His love for sports was shared with his family, whom he deeply cherished.
Ron had a special fondness for bowling, a hobby he cherished throughout his life. Whether on the lanes or with family and friends, he always knew how to bring joy and laughter into any room.
Ron is survived by his children: Ronald Gora Jr. and his wife, Tracy; Randy Gora; Robyn Gora and her partner, Amy; Ryan Gora and his wife, Kathleen; Kara Urban; Katie Hamilton-Gora; and Michaela Ervin and her husband, Ben. He is also survived by his siblings: Russell Gora and his wife, Brenda; Betty Jackson and her fiancé, Mike Currier. Ron was a proud grandfather to Elijah Gora, Aaliyah Jenks, Riley Gora, and Ashiana Gora. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, whom he loved very much. He was predeceased by his parents, his beloved sister Linda Gill, as well as sisters Donna Gora and Nancy Millard, and his grandson, Robert Gora.
SERVICES: A celebration of Ron's life will be held at a later date, but the family appreciates all the love and support they've received during this difficult time. An online guestbook is available at www.davisfuneralhomenh.com. (603) 883-3401 "ONE MEMORY LIGHTS ANOTHER".
