Ronald Gene Gore

Reverend Ronald Gene Gore, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 20th, 2026, at the age of 71. Born on December 11th, 1954, in Cartersville, Georgia, Ronald spent his entire life in the community he loved.

A master carpenter by trade, Ronald dedicated his life to building not only structures but also relationships and memories. He was employed by Gore Construction, a family business where his craftsmanship and dedication left a lasting impact. Ronald was known for his willingness to help others and his passion for creating beautiful and lasting works. His talent and generosity were evident in every project he undertook.

Ronald's greatest joy in life was his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Lynn Gore, and his sons Ron Gore and wife Amy and Rob Gore. He was a proud grandfather to Austin Gore (Keeley) and Hallie Gore and cherished his two great-grandchildren. Ronald is also survived by his sister Charlotte Gore, and brothers Ernie Gore, Greg Thacker, and Gary Thacker, along with several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. His faithful companions, a Chihuahua named Tiny and a Poodle named Precious, were always by his side.

Preceding Ronald in death were his parents, Eugene and Mary Margaret Gore, his stepmother Marion Gore, and his adored Black Lab, Little Gore.

Beyond his work, Ronald was a man of simple pleasures. He found peace and joy in the mountains, where he loved to hunt and fish. A true "man's man," he valued strength, integrity, and the beauty of the natural world.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ronald's life at a funeral service on Tuesday, March 24th, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cartersville, GA. Visitation will be held at the same location from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm prior to the service. Burial will take place at Sunset Memory Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers will be Edward White, Allen Cornelius, Spenser Cornelius, Jordan Cornelius, Zachary Pool, Gregory Gore, Allen Thacker, and Thomas Meeks.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Ronald will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of love, craftsmanship, and dedication will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
