Ronald Wythe Grant, age 93, passed away in his home on January 19, 2026. He was born in San Diego on September 3, 1932 to Dorothy D. Casserly and Donald Grant.
Ron grew up in San Diego and graduated fron San Diego High School in 1950. He attended San Diego State College and transferred to UCLA. He joined the Air Force ROTC program and graduated in 1956 with a BA in Meteorology and Mathamatics. He retired from active Air Force reserve service in 1978 as a Lt. Colonel, credited with 22 years of service.
Ron was remembered as a dedicated family patriarch, survived by multiple generations of children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and was preceded in death by his wife Abigail W Foster.Ron leaves behind his three daughters, Deborah Casserly Kuplen, Cynthia Dahm, and Pamela Grant, plus five grand children and two great grandchildren.
Private services will be held for close family and friends only.
