A loving son, father, nephew, cousin and loyal friend.
Ronald Curtis Greene was born in Pittsburgh, Pa. on February 15, 1971. He attended and graduated from Wilkinsburg Sr. High School in 1991. Shortly after, he was a trainee and eventually, employed as a Nurses Aid for the UPMC MICU/SICU dept. at Presbyterian University Hospital. Working various jobs after, his last employer being the Air Gas Co. of Murrysville, Pa., which he worked for several years as a devoted employee, delivering Oxygen tanks to customers homes.
Ron was a person who loved a party and was always part of the crowd and living in the moment, especially when celebrating the holidays, birthdays, or cheering on his favorite Steelers Football team. He also loved to entertain at home, was known to be a great cook, and his homemade Bar-B-sauce was always a hit. One of his favorite activities that he looked forward to annually was helping his Uncle Harry, aka "BoPeep", set off fireworks on the 4th of July for the always awaiting East Hills Community.
Ron has touched so many lives, was well loved by his family and friends, and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald Greene, Sr. and Gloria Jean (Rose) Greene; aunts, Peggy Margaret Rose, Karen Ann Rose, and uncle, Regis Clinton Rose. He leaves to cherish in his memory, his son, Devron Jay Booker; aunt, Ramona Long of Dallas, TX; uncle, William T. Rose, Jr. of Seattle, WA; aunt, Bernadette Monroe; uncles, Harry Rose, and Melvyn Rose all of Pittsburgh, aunt Veronica and Uncle William Flournoy of Las Vegas, aunt, Barbara Rose of Torrance, CA, and aunt Renee Briggs of Dallesport, WA, and a host of cousins and their families.
