Ronald Paul Greiner, 76, left to reunite with his loved ones on August 18, 2024, in Lampasas, TX.  He was in his home surrounded by those who loved him.  He was born on October 24, 1947, in Goose Creek, TX to Mearine Greiner and Vivian Gray Greiner.

Memorial services will be held for family and friends at a later date per his request.

Ron graduated from Liberty Hill High School where he met Judy Bee Carlile and married her soon after on June 18, 1966.  They began a family and Rebecca Lynn was born in Corpus Christi, TX.  Rhonda Leigh was born in Victoria, TX and James Clayton was born in Lampasas, TX where Ron resided for most of the rest of his life.  During his marriage to Judy Bee, his professions included working for H.E. Butts, Dupont, and American Van Lines as a truck driver, he managed a commercial hog farm, was a Church of Christ Preacher, and a Walmart Associate among other things in his lifetime.

Together they enjoyed family time, spending vacations at the beach, the lake, and river, bowling, and watching each of their children excel in sports.  Fishing was a huge part of his life as well as hunting, introducing his children to mini bike trails and tons of family trips.  He was devastated at the loss of Judy Bee on March 14, 2004.  On January 5, 2005, he married Katherine Jean Wilhelmson who he met in Lampasas and began his later life with her.  They enjoyed gardening, the outdoors in general, traveling to State Parks and the ocean as well as trips out of state.  Ron was employed by the State of Texas Prison System which allowed him to spend time traveling.  The loss of Katherine on July 20, 2021, affected him greatly.  After her death, he retired from the State of Texas.  He spent many days on the lake with his nephew Raymond Roberts, enjoying visits from Sara Harriman and her family and having breakfast with lifelong friend, Jim Spviey among others.  He enjoyed taking his family out to eat and stopping by just to say hello whenever he could with family and friends, including those who he kept in touch with after graduating from Liberty Hill and his many friends from the State Prison System.
