Ronald Dean Grenell, age 78, of Manchester went to be with his heavenly Father Sunday, December 1, 2024. He was born November 9, 1946 in Binghamton, NY to the late Merle and Earnestine (Bolt) Grenell. In addition to his parents, Ronald is also preceded in death by his wife, Tena Marie Grenell. Ronald was a member of Canvas Community Church. He loved working with his hands, baking and freeze drying his favorite foods. He also enjoyed leather tooling and creating beautiful belts and other leather crafts. Ronald loved learning new things and continued to learn into his senior years. He also enjoyed his annual fishing trip in August to Canada with his dad, brother, and sons. Ronald served his country in the United States Navy.Ronald is survived by his children, Ryan Grenell, Michael Grenell, and Kimberly Thompson (Steven); grandchildren, Christian Grenell, Joel Morgan, Jenna Morgan (Blake Thomas), Analiegh Grenell, Audrey Grenell, Braelynn Thompson, Madeleine Thompson, Ellowyn Thompson, Kara Thompson, Makaya Thompson, and Jackson Thompson; great-grandchildren, Landon Cornejo, Carter Alexander Reed, and Rowan Thompson; brother, Norman Grenell; sister, Lynne DeLisle; and Aunt, Wilda Grenell.The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Sunday, December 8th at Manchester Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held in the chapel at 2 p.m. with Pastor J.T. Jordan officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.Manchester Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Ronald Dean Grenell.
