Ronald Michael Gubanyor

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Michael Gubanyor, who died peacefully at the age of 73 on March 17th, 2025, at his home in Solon, Ohio.

Ron was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many.

He was known for his kindness, being fiercely loyal and his work ethic.

Ron was born on November 1st, 1951, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Michael and Ann (Bocan) Gubanyor. He was a brother to the late Patricia Modenbach. Ron graduated from Maple Heights High School and went on to join the Army National Guard and then worked for Good Year.

Ron married his best friend in 1973 and together they raised three children. Ron’s greatest joy in life was his family.

He is survived by his wife Denise (Ledinsky) and his children, Ryan, Dawn (William Gartner) and Lisa (Jordan Brenner). He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Gabriella, Raegen, Billy, Gavin, Dylan, and Ryder.

Ron was very passionate about his work. He owned his own landscaping business for 39 years. Ron’s legacy will live on in the many lives he touched.

Ron’s funeral will be held on Monday, March 31st, 2025, at St Cosmas & Damian Church, 10419 Ravenna Rd, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087. Visitation will be held from 10-11 with a mass immediately following.
