Ronald was born on June 17, 1939, in Chicago, Illinois to George & Irene (Eichmeyer) Handke. He served his country in the United States Navy from 1958 to 1960. Ron continued to serve his country as a Tazwell County Police office and Tazwell County Search & Rescue for many years. He enjoyed training his dog for the search and rescue.
Ron's neighbors and friends will cherish his memory.
