Ronald W. Hanright

Ronald W. Hanright, 88, a resident of Chelmsford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at High Pointe House, Haverhill, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Shirley A. (MacPhee) Hanright with whom he shared 68 years of marriage.
He was born in Springfield, MA, on December 21, 1936, and was the son of the late George and Jean (West) Hanright.
Ronald was raised in Brighton, went to school for cabinet making, and joined the Air Force after high school. He spent 20 years in the Air Force doing instrument panels for aircraft after retiring from the Air Force. He worked for Raytheon and Simplex until his full retirement. He loved travelling, computers, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his loving wife, Ronald leaves his children, Robert Hanright, Lloyd Hanright and his wife Rhonda, Valerie Higgins and her husband Tim; his grandkids, Erica Hanright, Arron Hanright, Dan Hanright, Shannen Hanright, Shelby Higgins,Kelsey Higgins, and Tyler Higgins; his great grandkids, Logan Higgins, Jax Hanright and Alex.
Sadly, he was predeceased by his sister, Polly Leeds.
Memorial donations may be made in his name to American Heart Association.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 11 am 1 pm at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford. His funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 1:00 pm following the visitation. Interment in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford.
