Ronald Henry Obituary
After graduating from Arsenal Tech High School with the Class of 1958, Ronald proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era. Following his military service, he became a Deputy Sheriff serving many years with the Marion and Owen County Sheriffs Departments and also with the I.U. Police Department at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was a Past Commander of the Spencer American Legion Post # 285 and a member of the Owen County Honor Guard.
Ronald enjoyed fishing, fly tying, sailing and meeting his friends at McDonald's for morning coffee.
Surviving Ronald are his children, Robin (Mel) Bigham, Tim (Sasha) Henry and Cassi Henry; six Grandchildren; five Great Grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a twin brother, Donald M. Henry and a sister, Velva Evans.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM ~ 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer, IN. Following visitation, Military Rites will be accorded by the Owen County Honor Guard at the funeral home.
There will be no funeral Ceremony.
