Ronald J. Herrlinger

HERRLINGER, Ronald J. - Age 76, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. Born on May 13, 1949, to the late Arthur and Pauline (née Piaget) Herrlinger, Ronald was a lifelong resident of Greenhills, Ohio.

Beloved husband of Lisa (Singler) Herrlinger for 53 years. Loving father of Amy (John Jr.) Scheels, Julie Lewis, Lori (Jeremy) Knapp, Jill (James Coyle) Herrlinger, and Maria Herrlinger. Cherished Papa of Zachery, Anna, Lillian Scheels, Alexander, Sophia, Benjamin Knapp, Nayomi Herrlinger and Olivia Coyle. Dear brother of Arthur Herrlinger Jr. and the late Gerald Herrlinger and Nancy Leininger.

Ron carried a deep devotion to his family throughout his life. He served his country with honor in Vietnam as a Sergeant in the United States Army, where he was awarded the Orange Heart Medal for his service and sacrifice, including his exposure to Agent Orange. A devout Catholic, Ron was active in his parish community and founded the F.A.T.H.E.R.S. group at Our Lady of the Rosary. Known for his generous heart, he would give or do anything for anyone. He loved fishing, had a talent for fixing just about anything, and lived a life marked by faith, service, and love.

Visitation will be held at Neidhard Young Funeral Home, 7401 Hamilton Ave., Mt. Healthy, on Monday, October 6, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 17 Farragut Rd., Greenhills, OH 45218, on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 11 AM, followed by burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the VA Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
