He was born May 16, 1933, in Warren, OH, the son of Frank E. Hoffman and Irene McCleery Hoffman.
Ron married Sandra Allen Hoffman on August 26, 1955. She preceded him in death on July 11, 2020.
He was a graduate of the former Chalker High School. Mr. Hoffman was employed as a pipe fitter at Packard Electric for 31 years until his retirement in 1982. He proudly served our country in the Korean War.
Ronald was an extremely talented craftsman and had built anything from curio and book cabinets to outside Christmas decorations. He especially enjoyed to golf at the Riverview Golf Course and watching golf on TV.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Richard (Darlene) Hoffman; two granddaughters, Jennifer (Doug Morris) Hoffman and Melissa (Aaron White) Hoffman; sister, Joan Hickox.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was sadly preceded in death by his daughter, Gail Hoffman Callow in 2002; two brothers, Frank and Austin Hoffman; sisters-in-law, Carol Hoffman and Madeline Hoffman; and brother-in-law, Bob Hickox.
Per Ronald's request there will be no service or calling hours. Cremation has taken place.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
