Ronald Holmes Obituary
He is a veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Vietnam War. In civilian life he was a Florida Park Ranger and served the City of Melbourne for 30 plus years. He remained an acive member of the community in his retirement.
Ron is survived by his wife of 46 years Rebecca (Becky) Holmes; siblings J. B. (Dusty) Holmes and Carol (Ron) Cottick; his three children Jessica (Craig) Allen, Ronald (Abigail) Holmes, Jr., and Bradley (Sara) Holmes. He will be dearly missed by his five adoring grandchildren Spence (16) and Lucas (13) Allen, Declan (8) and Harper (4) Holmes and Wyatt (1) Holmes and soon to join the family Waylon Holmes.
A ceremony with United States Army honors is being planned at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims as well as a gathering of loved ones and friends. Dates and times will be announced in the coming weeks.
