Ronald Harold Honkomp, age 60, of Affton, Missouri, passed away peacefully at home on April 13, 2025, surrounded by those who loved him most.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Ronnie will be remembered for his kindhearted spirit, sharp sense of humor, and lifelong passion for cars. He made his living and many friendships working as a trusted mechanic, always willing to lend a hand or share his deep knowledge of engines with anyone who asked. To Ronnie, cars were more than just machines; they were stories, memories, and a way of life.
Ronnie is survived by his beloved wife, Patti; his children, Daniel and Amanda; and his cherished grandchildren, Cameryn and Myles, and his treasured beagle, Milo. He also leaves behind his brothers, Robert, Michael (Liz), John (Angie), and Jim, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories, mischief, and love, as well as his cousin Patrice and sisters-in-love Debbie and Pam.
Ronnie’s driveway garage was often his happy place no matter where he lived, but his heart always belonged to his family. Whether under the car hood or cheering on his grandkids, he lived with warmth, loyalty, and an unshakable love for the people around him.
Ronnie was a man of steel and soul, and he will be missed beyond measure and remembered with every engine that roared to life because of him.
