Ronald E. Horazy

Ronald E. Horazy Of Tinley Park, passed away at Edward J. Hines V.A. Hospital, Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at the age of 79.
Ron is survived by his two children Michael (Tina) Horazy and Kristen (Kurt) Gaska. Five grandchildren Matthew Connors, Brianne Gaska, Riley Gaska, Taylor Horazy and Peyton Horazy. His sister Janice Swinarski.
He is preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Veronica (nee Rajecki) Horazy and his brother-in-law Jay Swinarski.
Ron was born on September 20, 1946 in Chicago and was a graduate of Brother Rice High School, Class of 1964. Ron served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and also earned the Marksman Qualification Badge with Rifle Bar.
Ron later retired from Delta Sonic after 20 years of dedicated service in management and overseeing the development of several suburban locations. In his free time, Ron enjoyed golfing and participating in fantasy football, interests he followed with enthusiasm and passion.
Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Rd, Tuesday, December 23rd at 11:30 A.M. Interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, from 10:00 A.M. until time of services.
