Ronald F. Hritz, 81, of Springdale, AR, passed away on February 15, 2025, in Springdale.
He was born on October 2, 1943, in Lilly, PA, to Jacob Stephen Hritz and Pauline Siedlarczyk Hritz.
Ronald is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jacob Hritz Jr.; and one sister, Sue Hritz.
He is survived by his loving wife, Pat Scott Hritz; one daughter, Melissa Hritz Rose; one son, Ron (wife Michelle) Hritz Jr.; seven grandchildren, Morgan Hritz, Kelsie (wife Satyn) Barnes, Mikayla Hritz, Jacob Hritz, Chelsea (husband Jonathon) Longtin, Kelli (husband Brandon) Calico, and DJ Reader; eight great-grandchildren, Lilly, Kaden, Jeb, Kaven, Echo, Jaxon, Jasper, and Rowen; four siblings, Michael (wife Lucy) Hritz, Alfred (wife Donna) Hritz, Lois Hritz Smith, and John (wife Leann) Hritz; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Ronald served in the United States Air Force for four years in the Air Police Division. He had many hobbies, including bowling, softball, hunting, and fishing. He was also an avid sports fan, especially of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Penn State Nittany Lions.
A Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be held Monday, February 24th at 10 AM at St. Raphael's Catholic Church.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd, beginning at 4 PM at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale, followed by a rosary at 6 PM. The family invites guests to wear their favorite jerseys in Ronald's memory.
Burial will take place at Fayetteville National Cemetery in Fayetteville, AR.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Circle of Life in Springdale.

Ron always had a great Smile. I don't think I've ever seen Ron not Smile. My Dad thought so much of Ron and Pat both. I'm so sorry, I'll be praying for His Family.
