I hadn´t seen Ronnie Jarman in years sence I moved away from Va. One day I was bless to see him at the grocery store in Hampton, Va. Still the same Ronnie, he saw me and yelled my name DaVida ! That was the year of 2011 I do believe. A kind and gentle soul, he was, that´s how I will remember my dear classmate from Warwick High School Newport News, Va. REST IN THE PEACE OF GOD MY FRIEND.

To the Family, you have my deepest sympathy. Ronald was truly a good person. Yes, he was definitely a master barber...I wouldn't let no one cut my hair but him because, he was the best. He will be truly missed.

Ronnie grew up in Newport News in the big house on the corner of Orcutt Ave and 22nd Street. We were always amazed at his home because it was like a manchin to us. He was always looking out for the younger guys in the neighborhood, trying to keep us on the right track and out of trouble. Ronnie used to cut my hair in the shop on 25th and Jefferson and later at his home on Orcutt Ave a couple of doors down from the home that he grew up in. I remember when he started his career teaching and I would see him in the mornings leaving and in the evenings returning home from Huntington Intermediate School, always with a smile on his face. He was very happy about being a teacher. It was a joy to have Ronnie as a friend and someone that I could look up to. Ronnie will be missed.

Sad to learn of Mr. Jarmon´s passing. Fond memories of Mr. Jarmon from our Huntington Middle School days, he was loved by both students and teachers. A kind and considerate person always there to help and guide students to do the right thing. Our condolences to his family. Our prayers to Mr. Jarmon´s family. May God Bless.
Sincerely, Ms Landry and family
