Ronald Gene Jenkins

Ronald Gene "RJ" Jenkins, 73, of Glendive, MT, transitioned peacefully in his sleep on August 11, 2025. Born on July 23, 1952, to Eugene and Joanne Jenkins, RJ grew up surrounded by a large and loving family. He is survived by his children Shelly Jenkins (Jay), Brandy Jenkins, and Levi McGrane (Jewelie) and his siblings Vaughn Jenkins, Bonita Jenkins, Dave Jenkins (Pam), Tami Littell, Steve Jenkins (Wanda) and Shana Hollowell (Gary), his grandchildren Haylee McGrane, Hunter McGrane, and Mabel Nelson and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother Dennis and brother John. RJ was a true champion rock hound, with a keen eye for nature's treasures, his rock collection was a true beauty. He was an avid card player who especially loved playing poker with his friends. His greatest joy, however, was spending time with family and friends, who meant the world to him. RJ's presence, humor, and warmth will be deeply missed by all who knew him. RJ's family will honor his memory with a private celebration of his life.
