Our dad, Ronald E. Jordan, passed away on May 20, 2023, at CMMC in Lewiston, at the age of 77.
Born in Portland, on June 2, 1946 to Virginia and Arthur Jordan.
Ron attended public schools. He lived, and worked in Maine all of his life, 10 years in various shoe shops, and later he went on to own, and operate his own auto body shop. He was an auto enthusiast most of his life, first, with drag racing, and then oval track, until his love affair with racing abruptly ended with a car crash that nearly ended his life. Although he was never able to return to the life he once loved, he enjoyed, with pride, watching his son, Ron, continue in his legacy.
Ron has been one of Jehovah's Witnesses for many years. He was very zealous with sharing his faith, and love of the Bible with any and all who would listen.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his grandson Gabriel, and two brothers, Rodney and Robert.
He is survived by his sons, Jeff Hall, Ronald Childs and his wife Melissa, Keith Jordan, and his wife Michelle. Daughters, Nadine Foster, and her husband Geoff, Wanda Jordan, Lorraine Jordan and her fiance Jeff, and Sonya Kelly. Grandchildren, Courtney, Wayne, Krysten, James, Justin, Corey, Tyler, Isaac, Desmond, Doran, and DeAndre. 9 Great Grandchildren.
His brothers, Roland Jordan and his wife Doreen, and Richard Jordan. Sisters, Diane Langley, and Beverly Nord.
Our dad's passing may have been unexpected, however, he was blessed with receiving the purest form of love from his children and grandchildren during his final days.
A service will be held Sunday June 4th at 2:00pm at the Kingdom Hall in Auburn 2256 Hotel Road. All are welcome to attend.
