Ronald Jurek Obituary

Ronald A. Jurek, 80, resident of Manchester, NH, died on May 10, 2025, at the Mt. Carmel Nursing Home, after a period of declining health.

He was born on July 23, 1943, in Tacoma, WA, a son of the late Adam and Wanda (Adamowicz) Jurek.

Ron faithfully served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam.

He worked for Eversource for over 30 years, retiring in October of 1998. He was an accomplished angler and fisherman who also enjoyed lobstering at Hampton Beach. In 1981, Ron and his buddy Frank Orme went tuna fishing out of Gloucester, MA and caught an 841lb tuna (Frank reeled it in!). He will be greatly missed.

In addition to his wife, Judy Jurek, Ronald is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Jill and Tim Ryan of Milford, NH, April Riese of Modesto, CA, three grandchildren, Amanda Ryan, Nicholas Ryan and Jackson Ryan.

SERVICES: Following cremation burial will be private for the family.
