Ronald Kindred Obituary
February 5, 1960 - December 28, 2025
Ron Kindred, age 65, of Butte, Mont., passed away on December 28, 2025, at St. Patrick's Hospital after a brief illness, surrounded by loved ones.
Ron was born on February 5, 1960, in Butte, Mont., to Don and Jeane Kindred. He grew up in Butte and graduated from Butte High School. He most recently worked at the CCCS START Program, where he was employed for the past 10 years. Ron was known for his strong, steady presence, kindness, and dependable nature. A hardworking man, he took great pride in providing for his family and living a life grounded in loyalty and love.
Ron married Carol Wham, and together they welcomed three beloved children, Krystal, Daniel, and Jenna Kindred. Their marriage later ended in divorce.
Ron married Kathy Quinn in 2000. Together, they shared a cherished daughter, Maria Kindred, completing their family. Ron's family meant everything to him, and his love for his parents, children, and spouse was evident to everyone he met.
Ron had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and found peace in camping, boating, and spending time in nature. He valued simple moments and enjoyed the calm and connection that came with being outside, surrounded by family.
Ron is survived by his wife, Kathy; his sister, Karen Mahoney (Mike); his children, Krystal, Daniel (Jasmine), Jenna (Sam), and Maria (Josh); and many extended family members and friends who will miss him deeply.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Jeane Kindred; and maternal grandparents, Charles and Frances Kriskovich.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Albert's Angel Fund (animal shelter) or a charity of one's choice.
Ron will be remembered for his strength, constant support, and unwavering love for those closest to him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
