Ronald Krzyzaniak Obituary

RONALD STANLEY KRZYZANIAK Our beloved Ronald Stanley Krzyzaniak was called to the Lord on Father's Day, June 15, 2025, after a long and productive life of 84 years. Ron was born in Saginaw, Michigan on November 24, 1940, to the late Felix & Mary Martha (Michalski) Krzyzaniak and graduated from Arthur Hill High School in 1959. He retired from General Motors Grey Iron foundry and was a member of the United Auto Workers Union and Knights of Columbus. Ron had two passions in life, family and farming. Family and friends alike would affectionately call him "Farmer" or "Farmer Ron," and he was truly in his happy place driving a tractor, working the fields, and hauling his crop to market. He took tremendous pride in his work and being able to provide for his family. Ron married the love of his life, Jacklyn McDougall, on May 7, 1966, at St. Josaphat Church in Carrollton, Michigan, and together they raised four wonderful children over their 59-year marriage. Ron's immediate family included son Russell (predeceased) & Stacey (Cowick) Krzyzaniak and their children Mariah, Natasha, and Lillian; son David & Teresa (Kroczaleski) Krzyzaniak and their children Taylor, Amanda (Ryan) Shaffer, and Terra McMann; son Paul & Rachael (Cardinal) Krzyzaniak and their children Lane and Aalynn, and his beloved daughter Ann Krzyzaniak. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren. Ron had three siblings, including Robert (Marge) Krzyzaniak, Dorothy Sneed, and Mike "Harvey" Krzyzaniak (predeceased), along with sisters-in-law Chris and Naomi. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Lee Ramsay Funeral Home in Standish on Monday, June 23, 2025, from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm, with a prayer service taking place at 7:00 pm. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at the Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church in Standish, Michigan with a visitation at 10:00am followed by an 11:00 am Mass with Fr. Ron Wagner presiding. A luncheon will follow the service. Memorial donations can be made to the Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church for religious education or the food pantry.
