Ronald Darel Lamb was born August 17, 1946, in Kanab, Utah, and grew up in nearby Orderville. He was the oldest of four children born to Darel and Farel Lamb. He passed away unexpectedly on May 1, 2024, at the age of 77 in Glendale, Utah.
He was a 1964 graduate of Valley High School, where he excelled academically and athletically. He was voted Best Athlete his senior year. He graduated from Dixie College after serving a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the British Mission.
Ron married Kathleen Dallin in the St. George LDS Temple on December 21, 1968. They briefly lived in St. George and Cedar City before moving to Page, Arizona, in January of 1970, where they made their permanent home and raised their four children.
When they moved to Page, Ron helped with the construction of the Navajo Generating Station and then worked at the power plant for Salt River Project as an instrument technician until his retirement in the summer of 2008. He continued working the overhaul each winter for many years.
Ron always served willingly in his church callings, including as bishop, stake presidency counselor, young men's leader, ward mission leader, and high councilor. In addition to callings, he was a friend to all and a wonderful example of connecting and keeping in touch with family and friends. After 41 years together, Kathy passed away in Page in July 2010.
Ron later married Carol Sue Brinkerhoff on June 30, 2012, in Glendale, Utah. They had many fun adventures around Southern Utah on their four-wheelers. They enjoyed teaching temple preparation classes in the Glendale Ward. Ron loved his family so much, but he especially adored his grandchildren, frequently making trips to visit them and attend their sporting events, concerts and other special occasions.
Ron is survived by his wife, Carol Sue; his children: Ronalee (Aaron) Graham of Flower Mound, Texas, Anni (Mike) Bryan of Tucson, Arizona, Paul (Katherine) Lamb of Parker, Colorado, and Ryan (Tania) Lamb of Winter Garden, Florida; his siblings: Sharlene (Joe) Anderson-Gibbons of St. George, Utah, Brad (Linda) Lamb of Pleasant Grove, Utah, and Derek (Sheri) Lamb of Layton, Utah; 12 grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren (with two on the way); and sister-in-law, Diane (Lynn) Chamberlain of Page.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Darel and Farel Lamb, and wife, Kathleen Dallin, along with several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
A viewing will be held in the Glendale LDS Chapel on Friday, May 17, 2024, between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. (Utah time).
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024, in the Page Arizona LDS Stake Center, 1301 N. Navajo Dr. The viewing will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by the funeral at 12:00 p.m. (Arizona time). Burial in the Page Cemetery will follow.
Services were arranged with Mosdell Mortuary.

My first memory of Brother Lamb was when I was trying out for minor league baseball. He was coaching the Yankees at the time and it is where my life long friendship with his son, Ryan, all started! I remember him being so patient and kind as he taught a bunch of rambunctious boys how to play baseball! I will miss him and want to send condolences to the whole Lamb family!

Ronnie was great friend and classmate. I´ll always remember our rabbit hunting escapades, visiting for hours and doing all the things the kids did growing up in Orderville.
