Ronald "Wesley" Lasitter Jr., beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away on March 5th, 2026 surrounded by his wife and loving family. He was 82.
Born on May 11th, 1943 in
Kissimmee, FL to the late Ronald Wesley Lasitter Sr. and Ettie Bea Lasitter. He resided in
St. Cloud, FL with his wife and their two Jack Russell paw children, Dixie and Spicey. Dixie, of course, being his loyal and trusted companion for 18 years.
Passionate about his trade and a talented and skilled master sheet metal fabricator. Wesley was the proud owner of Florida Custom Fabricators, Inc. for 27 years. His exquisite work can be found locally, within the USA and abroad. His iconic grills and coolers can be found in family and dear friends' homes and ranches.
Being in the woods, hunting, air boating, nature, animals, mountains, and gardening is where Wesley found the most happiness and closeness to God.
In addition to his parents, Wesley was preceded in death by his brother Charles Oscar Lasitter and son Robert Lasitter.
Wesley is survived by his wife, Carol D'Avella Lasitter; his brother Jimmie Lasitter and sister Helen McWhirter; his children Margaret Boyd, Ronnie Lasitter, Angie Tucker and their spouses Mark Boyd, Robin Lasitter, Bill Tucker, and his daughter-in-law Ginny Lasitter; his grandchildren Robert Douglas Lasitter, Mark Boyd, Mathew Tucker, Marissa Boyd Howard, McKenzie Tucker, April Lasitter Presley and Brittany Lasitter Hajecate; and great grandchildren Madison, Margaret, AJ, Edward Wesley, Elijah, Ethan, Beau, Tripp and Trace.
Those who had the pleasure of knowing Wesley knew him as a great family man and a true friend to many. He exuded kindness, generosity and humility. He touched so many lives and will be missed beyond measure by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Wesley was a lifetime member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Sheet Metal Workers Union, Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranch, NRA, and the Make a Wish Foundation. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to one of these organizations.
Per Wesley's wishes there will be no funeral service, though a celebration of life will be
held for family and friends at a later date.
