Ronald J. Lawrence, 91, of Mercer, PA, passed away on March 28, 2026, at Edison Manor.

He was born in Union City, PA, on February 9, 1935, to Kermit Lawrence and Marie (Mitchell) Lawrence.

Ronald was a United States Navy Veteran and proudly served in the Korean War for 4 years. He spent many years farming and driving the milk truck.

Ronald was married to Murriel M. (Jones) Lawrence on June 5, 1964, and she preceded him in death.

Ronald had a passion for music and was very talented. He did not read music, but could play a song on many instruments just by listening. He played guitar, piano, harmonica and more. He even wrote many songs. His favorite genres were country and gospel. Ronald also enjoyed mowing his grass and watching the animals outside, especially the birds. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Ronald is survived by: Three Daughters, Sandra Rhoades of Mercer, PA, Deena Burnett of Hermitage, PA, Sherry Grunthaner of Hadley, PA; Son, Allen Baumgardner of Mercer, PA; Sister, Charleen Yost of Wattsburg, PA; Also surviving are 21 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, Ronald is preceded in death by his Daughter, Debbie Baumgardner; Two Brothers, Inon Lawrence, Raymond Lawrence and three grandsons, Michael Nevel, Brian Claypool and Joshua Baumgardner.

In keeping his wishes, there will be no services.
